we want to get our name out there. myspace is good but how what is the best way for mass advertising. remember this is a genre that a lot of people may not like. we need to promote the right crowd, which is the more death metal side of things

Bars and clubs man. Just check out clubs and bars, especially near any Universities and just get an audition. It won't pay a lot at first but someone may find you if you are good.

house shows are a good way to meet people and establish new connections and help get your foot in the door for more shows. remember: when you're talking to people about your music, be confident but not cocky.

just keep on making music and don't bother with popularity, if your songs are any good you'll get there just keep accepting gigs. the contrast being a star or an artist if you want to be a star try to look pretty (like disturbed) if artist just pour it all into your music than getting frustrated of not being known (tool or sorry to say pearl jam don't care if they sell or not)
