I want one so i can send people messages to tell them to check my band out if they want. Because i don't want to be one of those loser bands that goes and adds everybody. Is it free or do i have to go buy the software.

If you aren't an officially sponsored profile on Myspace, and I'm sure you aren't, then Myspace will delete your account if you use bots to spam.
They can detect when the overactivity of mass-messaging/-commenting is coming from one account.
