im trying to upload a home recording of me playing the drums to my band site ....

but it says it needs to be in MP3 format how do i switch the song to that format ???

Or where can i go to get this song uploaded with the MP3 format so i can use it to put on Myspace ????

What music player are you using???

There are plenty of music players, including windows media and itunes that let you convert music to mp3 format.

If you have either you can make sure the default download is mp3 then download it. Or if it is already on your computer open the song in your music player and look under edit or advanced or whatever it is under for the convert song button.

Look on www.download.com for a free converter. You can convert file types without the need to put them on an MP3 player (which may just not see the file). Search for what you're converting to MP3 and license being 'free' (or 'free to try' if you just want to do this once).
